1. Introduction

Your privacy is important to us. In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to GC Trades Enterprise Ltd. We set out the principles which apply to any personal information we collect about you (whether from you or from other sources).
We do NOT sell your personal information to others for the purpose of allowing them to direct market their products and services. However, we may share information with third parties where they are providing you a service you requested.

2.1 Depending on the services you require, the kinds of personal information which we may collect and hold include:

  • your name, address and contact details (phone, email);

  • payment or billing details when you pay for services;

  • for service work at your premises — information about your property (address, access details, relevant facilities);

  • if applicable, details about prior work or service history on your windows/doors or related repairs;

  • if you apply for a job with us — your name, address, contact details, employment history, educational details, references, emergency contacts, and any screening information.

We may collect information automatically when you visit our website, including but not limited to:

  • information about your visit to our site (pages visited, clickstream data, time spent, download errors, etc);

  • the information you input into online forms (even if you don’t complete the form submission).
    This helps us to: operate our website, provide service quotes, support you, improve our services and monitor website usage.

Each time you request our services, we may send you email, SMS or telephone calls to verify your order and confirm details of goods or services requested. We may also send you service‐related communications (technical, administrative, legal) and marketing communications regarding services which we consider may be of interest to you.
You may unsubscribe from marketing notices by replying to the notice with the word “unsubscribe” in the headline or by contacting our Privacy Officer (details below). Please note that service-necessary communications cannot be unsubscribed.

5. Use and disclosure of personal information

We may use and disclose your personal information:

  • to our third‐party suppliers or subcontractors who assist us to provide services to you (for example, payment processors, materials suppliers, installers);

  • to inform you of our other services which may interest you;

  • for internal business purposes such as quality assurance, customer service, auditing, and business development.
    We will only disclose your personal information for purposes compatible with the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

In some cases, we may transfer your personal information overseas (for example to IT service providers, data hosting or backup facilities). 9.1 Supply of your personal information to us is voluntary. You have the right to access your personal information which we hold, and to request correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
9.2 We may retain your information for as long as we have a lawful purpose to keep it (for instance for warranty or service history purposes, or as required by regulatory obligations). When the purpose no longer exists, we will destroy or de-identify the information.

We take reasonable security measures (industry standard) to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss. However, no security system is completely secure, and where information is transmitted over the internet there is always some risk. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
